Delilah had just gotten to the school a few days ago and was putting stuff away in her desk and grading papers. She had gotten a few new students to her class and some had stopped by that weren’t in her class. She hadn’t really met any of the other teachers but had briefly met the soccer coach. Delilah used to play soccer when she was in high school and college but has always had a passion for Poetry. She agreed to meet Kris at a sports bar not too far from the school. Unfortunately she didn’t know where anything was so she was going to meet Kris at the front of school. When Delilah was finished grading the rest of her papers she grabbed her jacket, locked up her classroom and headed out for the front of the school. Only making one wrong turn she finally made it to the front of the school and sat on the steps waiting for Kris.

Having been hanging out, as per usual, over at the soccer fields, it wouldn’t take Kris all that long to get over towards the front of the school. Packing up her gear in her locker, Kris turned out from the field to head over and meet Delilah. She knew that the woman was new around campus, so it would be nice to get to know her a bit and help her learn the town some more. Walking at a pretty brisk pace, Kris was soon rounding about on the main building of the school, looking around slightly before spotting Delilah seated on the front steps of the entrance. Quickly running over to where she was, Kris greeted her with a wave and a grin. “Hey, you ready to head out? It’s a quick walk from here,” she announced, standing up on one of the steps as she waited for the other woman to get ready to go. The bar they were going to had always been a favorite of Kris’ and now that she was able to drink there for free, it was even better. There were definitely some perks to being a well-liked, Olympic athlete and that was one of them.
